Half Way There

I have survived the 1/2 way mark of radiation treatments. Mamma Pat (my mother-in-law) took me today. After the treatment, I told her I did not want to go home just yet because it makes me think of what’s going on. So we went and had breakfast at Keke’s and walked the shops near Keke’s. I have not been shopping in a while. It was nice to get some retail therapy!

Pat helped me make a delicious smoothie with blueberries, strawberries, bananas, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, and almond milk for lunch. It was amazing and full of nutrients helping me heal. One thing I can say is I have not lost my appetite.

I’m in God’s arms. He is holding me through this journey.

  3. Oh geez Paula I had no idea and I’m so sorry. I can’t imagine how mentally and physically grueling this has been. If I remember anything about you I’m sure you’re the entertainment of the cancer unit and I’m sure they instantly all loved you. So sad we lost touch but I’ll be praying for you every day ❤️
