I have been very busy which is a good thing and I\u2019m not complaining.&nbsp; Life has been good and remission is giving me hope.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;\u201cOur God is greater than all things. How great they art how great thou art\u201d was one of the hymns sang at a church service I watched and how true is the song!&nbsp; I\u2019m very blessed everyday to be in remission and be able to continue to spend time with my husband, kids, parents, brother, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and bestest of friends! God keeps hope alive. I have grown closer to God during my journey and I truly believe he is alive and will take care of me no matter what!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So what have I been doing?&nbsp; Working sleeping and living !&nbsp; That what it\u2019s all about. Staying positive, trying to eat right, praying, taking my meds and living day by day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The week after Easter my brother got married. It was a small intimate wedding on the beach. He married Dana on the beach in Fernandina\u00a0 amongst a few of\u00a0 our families and friends.\u00a0 On my way home from the wedding I could barely keep my eyes open. The fresh air just kicked my butt. I got home and slept just about the rest of the afternoon. I loved the beach! I wish Curtis and Dana the best of luck with their new life together.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shelbybrookedesigns.com\/paulas_story\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-28-at-10.22.46-AM-1024x767.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you might imagine, since I\u2019m feeling better the concerts are starting back up. Why not?\u00a0 I have to be careful when I go, can\u2019t be all cray cray like I used to be.\u00a0 Shelby, Teri, Nicole and I went to Daytona beach to see BK (Brian Kelly) from Florida Georgia Line.\u00a0 He is the blond of the duo. He is from Ormond Beach, Florida. We really wanted to support him because he\u2019s from Florida. Plus he\u2019s got some great beachy type songs. We went to the concert and back to our hotel room.\u00a0 Then we got a phone call\u2026my sister\u2019s dog Dottie girl was having a hard time breathing. So Shelby drove Teri home that night. Sadly, the following day, my sister\u2019s dog Dottie girl passed away. It was so sad that she passed and my heart ached for Teri &amp; Rich. Dottie loved everyone! When you knocked on Teri\u2019s door Dottie would sit and wag her little tail until you petted her. We will miss her so much. She was the best dog and We loved her dearly. This is a picture of her when she was a baby. I hope she is happy in dog heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shelbybrookedesigns.com\/paulas_story\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-28-at-10.24.03-AM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457\" width=\"402\" height=\"404\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My Uncle Alex got me tickets to go see Travis Tritt. I was so happy he did that for me.\u00a0 Teri, Nicole and I went to a fabulous dinner beforehand at a restaurant named BB\u2019s. I have lived in Jax my whole life (minus 3 years Tom &amp; I briefly moved to VA and NC) and NEVER heard of this place. It\u2019s down off Hendricks Ave almost to Prudential Dr.\u00a0 The food and staff were amazing. But the desert was to die for!\u00a0 After getting our bellies full we made our way to the Florida Theater to watch Travis. Much to our surprise his opening act was great!\u00a0 Be on the look out for an up &amp; coming group called Crawford and Power.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shelbybrookedesigns.com\/paulas_story\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-28-at-10.25.52-AM-759x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-458\" width=\"380\" height=\"512\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Mother\u2019s Day Tom, Shelby, Teri and I ran in the Donna 5k. It was a lot of fun!\u00a0 When then had a get together with family for dinner. Mitchell Tenpenny, one of the artists we love, requested pictures for a video and Shelby submitted a picture of us! And we made the cut! You can find us around 2:27. Such a sweet loving thing to do!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mitchell Tenpenny - Mama Raised the Hell Out of Me (Official Fan Video)\" width=\"950\" height=\"534\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sLECAJFOvqw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had a party for Shelby on May 21st! She turned 26!\u00a0 I can not believe it. It was a good time and great to get all the family together.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shelbybrookedesigns.com\/paulas_story\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-28-at-10.29.15-AM-1024x569.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-460\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tom and I took a little mini staycation and Tom remodeled out dining room and painted my moms old china cabinet for me. Yes it\u2019s all a bit white but o love it!\u00a0 Tom did an amazing Jon knocking off the popcorn ceiling and updating with knock down texture.
