Thankfully I work from home. So if I get tired, I can take a quick nap. I am concerned about how my back will fill after sitting &amp; standing at my workstation. I\u2019ve always worked in my office with two monitors and my laptop screen. But if my back needs rest, I\u2019ll need to give it some rest. I\u2019m looking forward to a little bit of more normalcy somewhat.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I walked up to 2.8 miles (as exercise) this week. So my goal is 3 miles because we have a couple of 5K races coming up. I won\u2019t be running but walking and enjoying the scenery. Shelby &amp; I walked Ponte Vedra Beach. I was able to navigate the soft sand pretty well but prefer the harder sand.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shelbybrookedesigns.com\/paulas_story\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Screen-Shot-2021-11-15-at-8.01.14-PM-769x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-294\" width=\"385\" height=\"512\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last Sunday we took some family photos. The company Dylan works for, Matthews Design Group, hired a photographer to take family photos for the holidays. We went to a public park in St. Augustine called Fort Mose. It is right off US1, and we had never been there. It was a beautiful setting, and I can\u2019t wait to get the photos back from them. Family photos are so important to me, especially now. Yep we are crazy, and we will be taking a road trip through Helen, GA, then on to Gatlinburg, TN, and then Charleston, SC. I just hope it\u2019s not snowing too bad. I want to get as much traveling with my family as I can. Making memories is priceless.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tom and I went to the Breast Cancer Dr. and met with Stephanie, the PA. She is so sweet and kind and answers all our questions. Basically, the blood work is trending as expected. Low white cells, red cells okay, and the good part of the cells is excellent. I asked about the hyperbaric chamber, and she said not to do it anymore because oxygen could spread the cancer cells. I also asked about the vitamin C and Glutathione. She said she was okay with Vitamin C but not to do the Glutathione because it could prevent the effectiveness of the Chemo pill. My trusted breast cancer survivor doctor, Dr. Buckley, authored a book about breast cancer and believed the total opposite. She believes cancer hates oxygen and the body needs antioxidants which is what Glutathione is. I\u2019M SO ON THE EDGE NOW!! HOW CAN TWO DOCTORS BELIEVE SOMETHING SO DIFFERENT. I totally believe Dr. Buckley, but the cancer is telling me no. Soooo now the fight begins. I need to have further conversations with the breast cancer Dr. Crozier. My scans are scheduled for&nbsp;Dec. 4th.&nbsp;They are going to try and get another PET scan. Potentially another CAT scan and bone scan. I get lab work monthly now instead of biweekly. My next appointment is&nbsp;on Dec. 10th, and we will go over the scans at that time. Pray the cancer is asleep, reduced, and no new lesions have appeared.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saturday night, I went to Daily\u2019s place to see Chris Lane and Kane Brown. I wore my mask MOST of the time, but then I took it off just before the concert was over. It\u2019s so hard to talk with your friends when you have on a mask.&nbsp; Pray&nbsp;\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc&nbsp;I do not get sick. We napped &amp; watched the Jags game &amp; took the pups on a walk. Dylan came by and helped Tom with trimming the hedges. Tom has been working his butt off trying to get out back yard in order. But it looks really nice. We had a lovely dinner and got all settled down for the week ahead. I can\u2019t believe it has been 4.5 months since I have been diagnosed with cancer &amp; not working.&nbsp;\ud83e\udd17<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 7-14 Well, this is my last week before I have to go back to work.
