I\u2019m going to really miss this when I go back to work on November 18th. We went and got our nails done while sipping a little mimosa. After our nails, we ventured to Margaritaville and had a fabulous lunch overlooking the beach. Being a Jimmy Buffett fan, I loved it!!! I even bought a shirt, although I don\u2019t need another shirt&#8230; but I found it fitting. Jimmy is coming to Jax next month, and my family bought tickets three years ago. It has been postponed twice. It\u2019s my favorite place to be, and I\u2019m glad I could share with these ladies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tuesday &#8211; Thursday 11\/1\/2021 \u2014 11\/3\/21<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wow! It\u2019s November. Where has this year gone? I ventured out to see my pain management doctor in St. Augustine beach. All went well, and since I\u2019m currently off opioids, I now have to go bi-monthly instead of monthly. This is good news!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had another PT appointment which is the last one. The therapist gave me a couple of exercises I can do to help strengthen my back. I\u2019m so tired of it hurting; I just want it to heal!! Basically, I have to keep my back straight, no twisting and turning while exercising. I should have been not twisting all along, but I have. He said it could cause the fusion to come undone. I\u2019m going to try better NOT to twist &amp; turn just in my everyday activities. It\u2019s tough.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had another vitamin IV. The IV includes Vitamin c 15g and Glutathione 1.6 G. I have not advised the breast cancer doctor about this regimen. We will need to the next time we meet with her.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/isom.ca\/article\/high-dose-iv-vitamin-c-metastatic-breast-cancer-case-report\/\">High Dose IV Vitamin C and Metastatic Breast Cancer: A Case Report &#8211; ISOM<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.welltopiarx.com\/download\/1173\/auro-glutathione\/26210\/glutathione-uses-in-cancer-patients-cda.pdf\">https:\/\/www.welltopiarx.com\/download\/1173\/auro-glutathione\/26210\/glutathione-uses-in-cancer-patients-cda.pdf<\/a><object data=\"blob:https:\/\/shelbybrookedesigns.com\/9ab97675-08b5-4e42-a558-958dcdd9a140\"><p><\/p><\/object><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the Vitamin IV, I took a little nap in the hyperbaric chamber for 1 hour. I felt very relaxed afterward. I just hope it will heal my back faster!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Friday 11\/5\/2021<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I meet up with Rick and Karyl Squibb, a couple I have known for many years. We worked together at Prudential back in the \u201990s! And then Rick and I worked together at Main Street America. So I have known them quite some time. It was great to catch up with them, and hopefully, we will be able to meet up again sometime. -BTW, Grumpy\u2019s restaurant off 210 is so good!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shelbybrookedesigns.com\/paulas_story\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/IMG_6818-copy-695x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-263\" width=\"348\" height=\"512\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After lunch, I came home and basically relaxed until Tom came home from work. Look at these beautiful flowers Tom bought me for my birthday. They are a week old and are opening up, displaying radiant color!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/shelbybrookedesigns.com\/paulas_story\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Screen-Shot-2021-11-07-at-7.50.58-PM.png?fit=760%2C1024&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-274\" width=\"380\" height=\"512\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shelby came over, and we made a nice healthy dinner. After dinner, Shelby and I planned a road trip for the holidays. We are going to go to Helen, Ga, then to Gatlinburg, pass through Asheville, and into Charleston. Lots of driving but I really want to see the mountains. Hopefully, it won\u2019t be snowing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saturday 11\/6\/2021<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This morning it was raining and cold. It\u2019s supposed to rain all day. I remember the doctor telling me if it\u2019s raining &amp; I could put off going out, that would be a good decision. Increased hazard for an accident &amp; possibly hurting my back. But did I listen? Nope. Tom &amp; I ventured over to see baby Easton so that I could give him a little gift for thanksgiving. Then we went to Sam\u2019s and dropped the obvious $300.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I went and got my hair colored for the fall. I went back to brown with a few highlights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tonight we have the Chemo Noir Gala at 3 Palms Grille in Sawgrass&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/chemonoir.com\/\">Chemo Noir<\/a>. I\u2019m looking forward to a night out with Tom &amp; friends. Chemo Noir\u2019s founder, Kat, has been so helpful and kind and is a go-to person to understand navigating CANCER. Every time I see her, she encourages me to fight!! Anyway, Kat invited me to the Gala as a VIP. Tom and I enjoyed dressing up and getting out. The event was amazing, and I love how Kat has created Chemo Noir as a cancer survivor, telling her story and helping others.
